The first ‘SWJTU-Keio University’ Forum was rounded off in Academic Exchange Hall in Jiuli campus of SWJTU on March 28^th. The forum was jointly held by Southwest Jiaotong University and Keio University and organized by School of Political Science. Presented at the forum were Prof. Yan Qipeng—SWJTU CPC Vice-Secretary, Overseas Dean of School of Political Science, Prof. Takahashi from Keio University, Prof. Ma Min-CPC Secretary of Central China Normal University (CCNU), Prof. Zang Yunhu from Peking University, Prof. Tatsuo Yamada from Keio University, some experts and scholars from different universities of China and Japan. Political power, social change and cultural development of China in the first half of 20^th century were discussed on the forum.
